He was apprenticed in Sölden in Austria and then worked in various hotels and restaurants in the aspiring South Tyrol catering industry. The first chef to be awarded stars in South Tyrol, Luis Oberstolz (Restaurant Flora) recognised his skill and ambition and so took him into his kitchen to give him the best possible training. There, Siegi Dilitz perfected his culinary skills and developed a passion for cooking and it is now his pleasure and delight to offer those skills to his guests.
